CM-2600 Series

Allied Motion's CM-2600 series torque motors are high performance brushless DC torque motors with integral optical encoders. CM-2600 motors have a hollow-shaft, rare-earth-magnet rotor supported by a robust precision ball bearing. An aluminum housing encloses the motor assembly and the integral encoder. These motors are characterized by a high torque-to-inertia ratio.

The CM-2600 was specifically designed for high resolution, high speed direct-drive positioning applications. Typical applications include semiconductor wafer processing equipment, turret scanners and other direct drive applications where a gearbox may be unsuitable.
